Did you know you can send SMS messages to cellphone via email? It is actually easier than you think…all you have to know is what email address you need to use in order to get the message to the right person. This is not something new, in fact it has been around for many years but has remained unknown to many people. Below are a list of the different networks and examples showing you how to format the email address.

Find the carrier listed below and add the 10-digit mobile number as shown in the examples.

AT&T

Example: 2125551212@txt.att.net

Nextel (now part of Sprint Nextel)

[10-digit telephone number]@messaging.nextel.com

Example: 7035551234@messaging.nextel.com

Sprint PCS (now Sprint Nextel)

[10-digit phone number]@messaging.sprintpcs.com

Example: 2125551234@messaging.sprintpcs.com

T-Mobile

[10-digit phone number]@tmomail.net

Example: 4251234567@tmomail.net

Verizon

[10-digit phone number]@vtext.com
